Lab-grade quality
Our certifications & quality
Agro Labs carries FDA Ghana and FSSAI certification. Every batch is made under Good Manufacturing Practice — documented, traceable and consistently fresh.
Certifications
What we are certified for
Certificate numbers will be listed here once finalised — see our story for more on why these standards matter to us.
FDA Ghana
The Food and Drugs Authority of Ghana certifies that our dairy is produced and handled to national food-safety standards. Our facility passed FDA Ghana inspection and holds a valid food business operating permit.

FSSAI — India
The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) standard underpins our Indian-influenced range — paneer, lassi, shrikhand, ghee. The FSSAI framework guides our production methods and hygiene controls.
Cert. no. — to confirm
GMP — Good Manufacturing Practice
GMP is a set of internationally recognised quality-control standards covering consistent, traceable manufacturing — the "Labs" in Agro Labs. Every batch is produced under documented procedures our team verifies and records.

How we keep quality consistent
Every batch at Agro Labs passes through a documented production log before it leaves the facility. We check freshness, acidity and microbial markers at each step — from milk intake to final packaging.
Our facility is designed around a clean-production workflow: milk intake, pasteurisation, culturing, setting and packaging are separated by purpose-built zones. Staff follow written SOPs verified against GMP requirements.
- Documented batch records for every production run
- Freshness and acidity checks at intake and at packaging
- Cold-chain maintained from production to delivery
- Periodic third-party lab testing (full schedule to be published)
The "Labs" in Agro Labs
Consistent, measurable, repeatable
- A2 only
- We keep the A2 herd separate and verify milk before processing. Only A2 beta-casein protein makes it into the bottle.
- Pasteurisation
- All milk is pasteurised on-site at the correct temperature-time ratio, then chilled immediately to preserve freshness.
- Short shelf life
- We produce in small batches to keep shelf life short and freshness high — not the longest possible shelf life.
- Traceable batches
- Each unit carries a batch code so we can trace any concern back to the exact production run.
Ethical sourcing
Our Ethical Milk Sourcing Program
Good dairy starts with well-cared-for cows and fairly-treated farmers. Our Ethical Milk Sourcing Program sets the standard for how we work with our partner farmers in Greater Accra.
Fair prices for farmers
We pay our partner farmers above the market floor and settle on time. Fair payment keeps the supply stable and incentivises quality — a win for farmers and consumers alike.
Organic feeding practices
Our herd graze on organically managed pasture and receive no growth hormones. What the cows eat directly affects what ends up in your milk — we take it seriously.
Extension services & veterinary access
We provide our farmers with veterinary access, husbandry guidance and equipment support. Healthier cows produce better milk and need fewer interventions.
Bio-power on farm
Manure from the herd feeds an on-farm biogas plant that generates electricity and produces organic compost — closing the nutrient loop and reducing the carbon footprint of each litre.
